The story...
Nick Raven was a soldier that the US government turned into a super soldier, albeit with limited powers. He has become the primary covert weapon used to attack and destroy any target the government decides is a threat to American security. The Russians, the primary target of Nick's work, have been trying to find out how to stop him. After two failed attempts to learn how to kill him through two undercover (literally) operatives they have changed their tactics. Now they have sent Svana, their top assassin to get close enough to Nick to lure him into lowering the energy shield that protects him from harm so she can kill him. In lieu of that, Svana shadows Nick to learn as much as she can about him---and his weaknesses---through a series of traps the Russians have set for him. The only flaw in the Russians plan is that Nick and Svana quickly recognize that they are mirror images of each other in being the killing machines they are expected to be.
